Research
Julia is currently conducting a “Knowledge of Concussion” survey in the racing community. The goal is to better understand what drivers know and don't know about concussion so that Julia can improve her educational platforms. The survey has been approved by the Michigan State University Internal Review Board, and is ethically compliant. Publications
Julia is an author included in the book “The Science of Automobile Racing.” Her chapter is titled “Return to Competition of Automobile Race Car Drivers Following Concussion” and discusses the challenges associated with concussion management in motorsports.
