About Julia

Julia Daly, PT, DPT, ATC graduated from Boston University with her BS in Athletic Training and Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She works trackside with racers and crew members to assess and manage acute and ongoing injuries. She also consults with race teams, tracks, and sanctioning bodies on concussion assessment and management.

 

Julia works trackside with Wayne Taylor Racing’s IMSA team and has presented on concussion management in racing alongside Dr. Stephen Olvey at the International Council of Motorsport Sciences (ICMS) Conference in 2016 and 2017. She was interviewed about concussion protocols in SCORE International Off-Road Magazine, February 2017.

 

Julia works as a physical therapist at Bay State Physical Therapy, and as an athletic trainer at Precision Athletic Training in Massachusetts, where she specializes in assessing and treating sports injuries.

 

She will be speaking about how to return to racing after a concussion at the Stand 21 Safety Seminar at the Long Beach Grand Prix in April 2017. Her first publication will also be announced shortly!
